Find work

Focus on selling, not stocking a store.

Find businesses looking for salespeople and apply for opportunities.

Once hired, sell their products or services without buying inventory or opening your own store.

How it works

Find an opportunity. Apply. Start selling once hired.

  1. Find a business

Explore opportunities with businesses looking for people to sell their products or services.

  2. Apply for a role

Apply for opportunities that interest you. The business reviews your application and decides whether to hire you.

  3. Work with your assigned customers

Once hired, manage the customers assigned to you, communicate with them, and follow your sales using the tools available for your role.

  4. Track your sales and commissions

Follow your sales and the commissions you earn under your agreement with the business.

What you work with

A business's products, not your own stockroom.

You sell what the business already offers. You do not buy inventory to resell, hold stock, or set up a store of your own. The business handles orders and shipping.

Good to know. You do not need to buy inventory or open your own store to sell for a business through BusiCat. Responsibilities and commission terms depend on the opportunity and your agreement with that business.

Responsibilities

What is yours, and what stays with the business.

The split below is how roles work on BusiCat. The exact scope of a given role is written in the opportunity and agreed with the business that hires you.

You do
Apply to opportunities. Once hired, work with the customers assigned to you, communicate with them, and follow your sales and commissions in the platform.
The business does
Decides whether to hire you, lists the products or services, sets prices, handles orders and shipping, and sets the commission terms it offers.
BusiCat does
Hosts the opportunities, applications, customer records, and sales records, and shows both you and the business the same sales and commission figures.
Not required
Buying inventory, opening your own store, or paying the business to be considered for a role.

Commissions

How commissions are set and tracked.

  • Who sets the commission

The business sets the commission terms it offers in each opportunity. BusiCat does not set a standard rate for salespeople.

  • Where the terms are recorded

Your commission terms come from the opportunity you accepted and your agreement with that business. Read them before you apply, and ask the business if anything is unclear.

  • What BusiCat shows you

The platform records the sales attributed to you and the commission that applies under your agreement, so you and the business see the same figures.

  • What BusiCat does not promise

BusiCat does not guarantee a minimum income, a number of customers, or that any application will be accepted. Earnings depend on the opportunity, the agreement, and the sales you make.
