Accounts and access
How do I create an account?
BusiCat is opening gradually. Join the early list with your name, email, and phone number, and we will contact you when you can create your account. The early list does not create an account by itself.
I forgot my password.
Open forgot password, enter the email on your account, and follow the link in the email you receive.
Sign in asks for a verification code.
Your account has two-factor authentication turned on, or the account policy requires you to set it up. Enter the code from your authenticator app or the method shown. If you lost access to it, contact us from the email on your account.
Where do customers sign in?
Customers sign in from the business's store they bought from, or through customer sign in to see their orders.
Businesses
Do I have to hire salespeople to use BusiCat?
No. You can create your store, list what you sell, and manage sales yourself. Hiring through BusiCat is available when you want help.
Who sets commission terms?
You do, in each opportunity you publish and in your agreement with each salesperson. BusiCat records the sales and the resulting commissions under those terms.
Does BusiCat hold my stock or ship my orders?
No. Orders arrive in your account and you ship them from your own location.
What is the difference between my storefront and the Marketplace?
Your storefront shows only your business. The Marketplace shows products from different businesses in one place. Both lead to the same orders in your account. See Shop for the customer view.
Finding work
Do I need to buy inventory or open a store?
No. Once hired you sell the business's products or services. The business handles stock, orders, and shipping.
Is there a guaranteed income?
No. Earnings depend on the opportunity, your agreement with the business, and the sales you make. BusiCat shows you the sales attributed to you and the commission that applies.
Who decides whether I am hired?
The business that published the opportunity reviews your application and decides.
Legal and privacy
The terms and conditions and privacy policy describe how BusiCat operates and how your data is handled. They apply to businesses, salespeople, and customers.
