For businesses
Sell what you offer, and bring in people to help when it suits you.
Create your online store, list your products or services, and sell directly to customers.
Manage sales yourself or hire people through BusiCat to help you sell. Customers, orders, marketing, and commissions are handled from the same account.
What you can do
Six things a business does on BusiCat.
Each capability is part of the same account. Open one to read how it works.
Set up what you sell
Create your online store and list your products or services so customers can explore what your business offers.
Physical products, services, and digital items can be listed. Your store is your own address on BusiCat; the same listings can also appear in the BusiCat Marketplace.
Hire salespeople
Find people to help sell your products or services. Review applications and decide who joins your team.
You publish an opportunity, people apply through BusiCat, and you review each application. Nobody is added to your team unless you accept them.
Manage customers and communication
Keep track of customers and sales conversations. Organize the information you and your team need for follow-up.
Customers can be assigned to the people who sell for you, so each salesperson works with their own customers while you keep the full picture.
Create and manage marketing
Use the platform's marketing tools to prepare and manage content for your business.
Email campaigns, web pages, forms, and social content are prepared and managed from the same account as your store.
Handle orders and shipping
Manage customer orders and the shipping work for physical products.
Orders placed in your store or through the Marketplace arrive in one list. You ship from your own location; BusiCat does not hold your stock.
Track sales and commissions
Follow sales activity and manage commissions under your arrangements with the people selling for your business.
Commission terms are set by you in the opportunity and your agreement with each salesperson. BusiCat records the sales and the resulting commissions so both sides see the same numbers.
Where customers find you
Your own store, and the Marketplace.
Customers can reach your listings two ways. Both lead to the same orders, the same customers, and the same team.
Your storefront
An online store for your business only. Customers who visit it see your products or services, contact you or your salespeople, place orders, and track their purchases.
The BusiCat Marketplace
A shared place where customers explore products from different businesses. Listing there puts your products in front of shoppers who did not know your business yet.
Hiring through BusiCat
You decide who sells for you.
Hiring is optional. If you want help selling, publish an opportunity and review the people who apply.
Publish an opportunity
Describe what is being sold, what the salesperson will do, and the commission terms you offer.
Review applications
People looking for work apply through BusiCat. You read the applications and decide who to accept.
Assign customers
Once someone joins your team, assign them customers. They communicate with those customers and follow the sales.
Follow sales and pay commissions
Sales made by your team show up with the commission that applies under your agreement.
